With 20 years of experience in Cortez and the surrounding areas, I have managed both my own properties and those of many others. Hi, my name is Katherine Chaffin. I am a third-generation Montezuma County native, and my deep roots in this community have shaped both my personal values and my professional approach. Returning to the area over 20 years ago, I found a natural fit in real estate—combining my love for this special place with the practical opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives through their homes.
With hands-on experience managing a diverse portfolio of properties, plus a master’s degree in counseling, I bring a genuine concern for our residents’ well-being backed by significant industry expertise and a commitment to quality service. My background allows me to approach property management with clear communication and a focus on creating positive rental environments.
While I oversee operations, I also partner with a trusted network of local vendors and professionals. These carefully chosen experts help ensure that repairs, upgrades, and services are completed promptly and to high standards. Whether it’s plumbing, electrical, landscaping, or cleaning, you can trust that your home is in good hands.
What sets me apart is my ability to be transparent, responsive, and go the extra mile for all Fine Feather clients.
